Cosmedics Triple Defense Protection Mineral Sunscreen Review

I have been using the Cosmedics Triple Defense Protection Mineral Sunscreen for quite some time, in fact my bottle is almost empty. *Cue tears and cries of frustration*. I am loving this sunscreen, a little 30+ bottle of vanilla scented goodness.
Why?
  • It soaks in easily.
  •   It has a “matte” finish, which isn’t quite matte over my rosehip oil in the mornings, but it certainly dries down very quickly to prevent my Rosehip Oil helping my makeup slip and slide around.
  • It doesn’t “ghost” in the water ie. go swimming and you won’t come out white.
  •   It smells gorgeous – vanilla is a definite favourite. The smell is pretty unobtrusive though and don’t think you will have a sweet smelling face all day – the scent dissipates pretty quickly.
·         The only thing I find is that when the smell dissipates you get a very faint scent of zinc (the main basis of the sunscreen). Not really a problem, although I really do not like a strong scent of zinc (sorry Invisible Zinc sunscreen).

Unfortunately this product isn’t readily available. You won’t find this at your local pharmacy or supermarket, this baby is only found in selected salons. This is a massive pain in the arse for the full time worker who really doesn’t like to spend her weekend traipsing around the shops. Next time I need to repurchase I am going to have a hunt on line and see what I can come up with.

Which Facial sunscreen do you use? Loving it or leaving it? Recommendations would be absolutely loved!

  1. This looks good. I am on the lookout for a new SPF moisturiser, I don't like them too greasy. What's the pricing like?

  2. Simplicite sunscreen is my current choice :) or Dermalogica solar defense booster or Burt's Bees Radiance day moisturiser with spf (haha in my lazy days)
