Chi Chi Viva La Diva Lipstick in Sylista: Review and Swatches

I bought this lippie in a Bridgette Bardot Winged Eyeliner and pouty lips daze. The soft pastel pink, the long lasting matte finish, the creamy texture; all helped me walk this baby to the cash register faster than you could say "Sex Kitten".

Whilst this colour is gorgeous and would suit a lot of people - its not for me. Bright colours on my lips are normal for me and this lipstick makes me feel like a corpse. Sad. This has nothing to with the lippie and everything to do with me.

I am sorry Stylista. I hope others find some use for you!

  1. Awww, I think it looks really pretty on you! I can't wear pinks as much as I'd love to ... the more yellow-based ones make me look sallow and the blue-based ones look purple on me and basically awful. Seems like you can rock both softer pinks and brighter colours too :)

  2. thanks, but I never feel as confident when I put this on compared to a bright! it is a gorgeous colour though, so it is a pity. when my makeup mood changes I am pretty sure I will be getting this one out!

  3. I have a couple of pastel/cool toned pinks as well and NONE are wearable on me. It just ends up looking really unnatural and fake. I buy them though because they look so pretty in the tube! xx

  5. I think that it looks gorgeous on you, but I completely understand! I am a bright lip person myself, it just makes me feel so much more confident and alive! xx
