However.... I can no longer be lazy with my new hair. Without the addition of a little heat styling you look like a lank mop sitting on my head. Floor mop, not pretty "mop" of hair. In case you were wondering. I figure my hair is sure to start getting damaged after all that heat styling (after being in perfect condition for so long) so to protect it, when ever possible I am eschewing heat styling and using a little wonder product instead.
This product? Redken Nature's Rescue Radiant Sea Spray.
This lovely sea salt spray gives my natural curls more bounce and texture. It adds more curls where curls start looking a little lack luster. However, unlike an old sea spray love of mine, it doesn't add any crunch what so ever. You still have gorgeous "run your hands through it" hair. Which is very important to me, considering I am someone who rarely heat styles, uses hair spray or blow dries my hair because I prefer my hair to feel soft and smooth, and not like straw.
Another wonder to this product? It smells Ah-may-zing! Redken Nature's Rescue Radiant Sea Spray is designed with a "time touch fragrance" which releases a burst of scent whenever you rustle your hair. Which is a lot if you are me, because this sea spray smells so good!
Another wonder, and important factor in choosing this spray (for me): It doesn't contain silicone or parabens. It also contains sea algae, aloe vera and soy protein to help moisturize, strengthen and protect your hair.
To me, this is a wonderful helping hand with my new hair cut, and something I have a feeling I will be using for a pretty long time!
My new hair, with some of this sprayed in and finger scrunched and teased.
These flowers are my current blogging best friend. While they are still in bloom and absolutely gorgeous, almost all photos shall be dedicated to them. So gorgeous!
