Skin Juice Revival Face Scrub

This is part two in my reviews on the wonderful Australian company Skin Juice. I have been using this product again since I got my skin assessed in January, although not as religiously as I should.

What is it? 

A granulated face scrub which contains fruit acids to both physically and chemically exfoliate your skin. This product is designed to be a scrub, however my Beauty Therapist told me to leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes twice a week as a mask, as the fruit acids are glycolics, which help to give you a stronger exfoliation. I use it as a mask twice a week but not as an exfoliant every night as well, because I think that might be too much trauma for my skin to handle.

Star Ingredients:

Black Vanilla Bean, Rice Bran and Fruit Acids (Glycolic Acid). Therefore helping to melt away the dead skin cells, as well as gently buffing them away.

Thoughts:

 This is a fantastic mask (which is primarily how I use it). It pulls all of the underlying pimples and such out of your skin, and the next day my skin looks awful. However, that is a good thing, because to pull all of the gunk out and get rid of it is much better than letting it hide under my skin, in my opinion. Since using this product I have noticed that my skin is in much better condition, and also my skin also looks much more refined (that may be due to the Pulp Cleanser as well). You also get a a fantastic exfoliation, especially by gently wetting the product when you go to remove it, and rubbing your hands in circular motions.

I still have the old packaging of the product, which was a little metal tube, but looking at the website I can see that they have changed packaging now, which I am very grateful for! My tube has split a little on the side, and sometimes a little pool of product builds up around it.

I really love this product, and knowing that it is Skin Juice you also know that it contains heaps of active ingredients, so that the product will deliver what it claims. I know I sound like a spokeswoman for this company, but it is nice to have an organic product which delivers!
