I know that it sounds really odd. Why on earth would I be writing about a hand soap, of all things? One very simple reason, and that is because it gets rid of fake tan like nothing else. Honestly, it is amazing.
I love my Naked Tan Goddess Bronze, however unless you apply with gloves it leaves your hands green! A green base means that you get a lovely natural looking tan, however it also means that you turn your hands turn a delightful shade of green, followed by a very dark shade of brown. Obviously this is not ideal. Normal soap does not remove it, I have tried in vain, scrubbing my hands til they hurt.
Last time I applied my Goddess Bronze, I got annoyed and ended up going to the kitchen (who knows why) to wash my hands (where my Lifebuoy soap hides), and I was amazed when I saw that the foam turned green, and underneath it my hands became a normal colour again.
Seriously, it is worth having a pump bottle of this stuff SOMEWHERE in your household, for fake tanning emergencies.

Oh good tip! I'm just about to use my Naked Tan for the first time so I'll get this first :)
ReplyDeleteI use Lifebuoy too and it truly is a MUST in my house. It also cleanses my makeup sponge and face cloth like no other. I even use a little squirt of it mixed with other cleanser to deep cleanse/wash my brushes. Totally multipurpose and amazing hand wash! So happy Australia has them hehehe now if only they also bring in the Lifebuoy body wash and shampoo :)
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh, awesome Dana! I hadn't thought of using it as a brush cleanser, althought I don't know why I didn't because it makes sense haha. I would be intrigued to try the body wash and shampoo too.
ReplyDeleteEmma, definitely get some. Or some gloves. Or wash your hands A LOT during application. It's a great tan, but it really stains your hands!
