Lanolips Love

It shouldn't be a surprise that I love Lanolips, I am sure that almost everyone in the world loves the Lanolin based products. Their lip balms are so good, I wear at least one of their lip products every single day! I know that I am coming to the party a little late with this post, but I recently bought the Sunshine shade to complete my collection, and I figured I should probably talk about this obsession, as its almost hilarious that I have so many of the Lanolips products!

With this post I am just proving that I am slightly crazy and obsessive (previously discussed here) as I own every single Lanolips lip balm (except the new Lemonaid one, just because I am a little scared of citrus flavours of any description). When I say that I own every single colour, I mean that I have bought every colour myself. Please don't judge me too harshly!

The main reason I think Lanolips is so darn good? The balms are natural, ultra medical grade lanolin. The 101 ointment is pure lanolin, while the coloured balms contain lanolin, sweet almond oil coconut oil, Vitamin E, grape oil and Shea butter for moisturizing, plus SPF 15 (perfect for summer, because we cannot forget that out lips can get skin cancer too!). No petrolatum, mineral oils, or nasty parabens to be wary of!

You know how some lip balms make your lips hurt even more when you put it on, so you have to keep reapplying? Lanolips does the complete opposite of that, making your lips more moisturised and soft then you have ever felt before in your life!

The balms are quite thick, but they spread very easily and are not sticky at all. I hate sticky lip balms and glosses, so I do think that is another one of the reasons that I love these balms so much.

Plus, the colours that they come in are gorgeous and sheer. I personally think that all of the colours would suit everyone depending what mood you are in, but like everything it depends on the person!

I use the 101 ointment as my before bed lip balm, I slather on a thick layer and wake up with repaired lips. For day, I choose one of the coloured lip balms (for the SPF), depending on my mood, or which ever lippie I am wearing.

Here are the lovely lip balms:

The one that I was worried about when I first bought it was Dark Honey because I thought that it would be too dark and gothic, but it is beautiful and sheer just like the others. It looks brown in the photo above, but it is actually more of a very pretty berry/grape.

My pick of the colours for summer? Sunshine, the perfect bright coral!
